Checking Grades and Assignments using Parent Assist
Parent Assist will enable you to look at your student's current grades as well as look at assignment scores in detail.  You can also access demographic information as well as grade information for all kids you may have in the district enrolled in other schools (i.e. Sam Barlow High School, Powell Valley Elementary, etc.). This is also a great way to track student work and to help foster conversations about your child's grades and classroom performance.

Select the link below and use your Username and Password to access your grades.  NOTE: You will need to get a password from the counseling secretary if you don't currently have one during regular business hours.

Gresham Barlow Parent Rights and Responsibilities Handbook
The Student and Parent Rights and Responsibilities handbook serves as our District's Code of Conduct for students.  Each family is given this booklet at the start of the school year and specific aspects of this information is discussed with students at various times throughout the year.  Please be sure to review this as well as discussing these expectations with your student(s).  Select the following link below to download this information:Parent Rights and Responsibilities Handbook.

School Lunch
Information
The Gresham Barlow School District contracts with SODEXO for food services and our breakfast and lunch program.  Because we believe in healthy choices for students, SODEXO has worked with our District Wellness Committee, as well as adjusting menu options to comply with all Federal Policy, in order to provide your students with quality meals.  The links below will enable you to review our menu as well as accessing your student's lunch account to deposit money for their use.

Parent and Volunteer Information
Gordon Russell has a very active group that meets the second Wednesday of every month.  Our Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) works to fundraise for various school activities that include providing small grants to teachers and teams to benefit all students within the school.  For more information about PAC and Volunteering at Gordon Russell you can simply select the PAC and DAC tab in the Sidebar Menu, or select the following link: PAC and Volunteering.

In addition to the PAC, Site Council is another way for parents to get involved at Gordon Russell.  The Site Council is composed of teachers, classified staff, parents, and administrators with the purpose of guiding the School Improvement Process.  This year, Site Council is working to coordinate a variety of Community Service Projects to build a true school community. The Site Council generally meets on the third Wednesday of every month. For more information, please select the following link: Site Council.
