DAC (District Advisory Council)
The District Advisory Council was created by the school board to foster effective communication between the board and the community. The council is comprised of two parent representatives from each school. This year Nick Kemper is serving as the Gordon Russell parent representatives.

The district uses the District Advisory Council (DAC) as a way to hear from parents.  We'd like to bring your feedback and opinions to the DAC every month.

We value your input and look forward to hearing from you during this school year.  Please email Nick Kemper with any comments or concerns.  We will be sure to present them at the next DAC Meeting in order to keep the GBSD informed of parent perceptions, opinions and feelings.

SCRIP
Scrip is a fundraiser for the school that ends up costing you nothing. Buying scrip is essentially buying gift cards from participating stores, but when you order them through the school, Gordon Russell earns a percentage of the sale. A portion of that profit can be banked for your family to use to offset school expenses. You get to spend every penny used to purchase the gift card. Scrip is an excellent way to budget grocery spending and a fun and
handy gift idea.

To order, simply fill out an order form and return to the office on any of the designated Mondays along with a personal check or money order for the total amount. Gift cards will be ready for you to pick up (or we can send them home with your student) on Fridays. Order forms can be found in the main office. If you would like to be on the Gordon Russell scrip email list so you can get updates and download the order form, please contact Cindy Dewey
via email at gbefscrip@gmail.com
