Attention All 8th Grade Students, lists for Kah-nee-ta and the 8th grade social will be posted later today. Please know that some students have been excluded from this list because they owe fees and fines. The fees and fines list as well as the Kah-nee-ta will be posted outside of the main office and outside of the counseling office. All fees and fines must be paid by Friday morning or you will not be able to attend the social events.
Attention 6th and 7th Graders: Many of your have not yet turned in your forecasting forms for next year. Failure to turn in a forecasting form will result in your electives being picked for you. If you want a choice, get them turned in by the end of the week!
Congratulations! About 11% of Thunderbirds walked, or rode a bike, skateboard, or scooter to school at least once during the Walk 'n Bike to School Challenge Month in May. In all, that added up to 456 trips! Sixth graders rocked with 42 participants. No surprise that walkers were in the large majority, but cyclists and scooter riders and skateboarders were about equal in numbers. Next year, we need to beat Dexter McCarty, which had 34% participation. Be sure to take in the Challenge Awards Ceremony from 12:15-12:30 p.m. at Alberta Park during the Portland Sunday Parkways. Keep up your healthy habits!
Registration for SUN Summer Camp is now open to all GRMS students. Camp runs Monday through Thursday
8th grade WEB Leaders and A-Team: We will have our pizza party at 11:50 on Friday just before lunch. Meet in the Performing Arts room for a brief celebration of your year's accomplishments.
8th Graders - Be sure to have your permission slip forms and money turned into the office no later than Friday, June 7th. We will have students who are cleared to go to Kah-nee-ta and the social posted at the main office and by the Counseling office on Wednesday. Don't wait, get it done!
